"After I became saved, I thought I could be the "skitophrenic rapper", give one or two songs to God and spit worldly rhyme the rest of the time. But as time went on God showed me how I could use this gift to advance his kindom, and I feel that the Lord wants to use me in awesome ways."

Delaware Rag
http://www.myspace.com/delawarerag
Delaware Rag is a "Newgrass" band that blends bluegrass music with rock and jazz. Some of our influences include Sam Bush, Bill Monroe, Jerry Garcia and David Grisman to name just a few. The band originally formed as a 3 piece in 2001 with Paul, John and Scott. Casey Neal and Pat Maholland were added to round out the line-up in the Fall of 2003. "The Rag" covers traditional bluegrass, cover songs, as well as original material. The true energy of this band can be seen at their live performances. The stage attire and antics of the band can get a little out of hand sometimes. Whether we are performing at The East End Cafe, Stoney's British Pub or The Homegrown Cafe, everyone always seems to have a good time because we have a good time.

Silly Joe
Silly Joe entertains audiences with his high-energy songs about the everyday lives of kids and families. With a guitar, a loud voice, a wig, a kazoo, boxer shorts, and a lot of silly body movements, Silly Joe keeps everyone involved in the show. Silly Joe sings about family trips with grumpy dads in "Are We There Yet?" crazy pets in "Timmy Had a Tiger" and "Dumb Dog," brother and sister relationships in "Little Sister Blues" and "Princess in Training," and kids who act goofy in "Put It on My Head" and "The Underwear Song." Mixing stories with music, Silly Joe captures family moments in an honest and imaginative way. Kids and parents enjoy laughing with Silly Joe and at themselves as he offers a lighthearted look at the comedy and quirks of family life.
Skeez

Small Print
Small Print brings a fresh and ecclectic blend of original rock music to the Philadelphia area. Consisting of three capable guitarists (who share time on rhythm, bass, and keyboards), and a drummer well-versed in world, latin, and melodic percussion, as well as tympani and piano, all four members of Small Print also sing, and they use these assets to their full advantage, often blending rock riffs with harmonies and counterpoints. Drawing from musics as varied as grunge, jazz, blues, classical, punk, jam, and folk, the wide spread of backgrounds and styles of these four musicians will become immediately apparent. Brett Stewart's folk/grunge lyrical stylings wrap smoothly around Joe Rollins' blues/shred guitar licks, while Ed Baldwin's Seattle-jam guitar and bass riffs work in and out of Bruce Seaton's classical/art-rock inspired tom-heavy grooves and fills.
Stellar Door
Combining jam based covers with hallucinogenic originals.

Whirled Blue
A relative newcomer to the jamband scene, Whirled Blue has already made an indelible impression. They have shared the stage with such Legends as Derek Trucks and Johnny Neel and have played countless venues throughout the region. Blending the blues sounds of the Soul with the improvisational freeform of the jamband, they have managed to create their own niche in the music world.
Will Webb
Veteran Nashville-based songwriter/poet Will Webb releases his first album here and, as the title suggests, trains are a recurring theme. Stylistically, this collection blends folky songwriting and country instrumentation, with Webb's Dylan-esque vocals driving the train, so to speak. "Gospel Train Blues" is a lonesome hard-charger, and "War Zone" owns a dark tone and affecting militaristic feel. The introspective "Wicked Wind" and pining "Bonnie June" possess a timeless feel, while the hangdog "Wheels Up" is a testament to those things that have run their course. Later, "Pastures of Plenty" melds a stone country vibe with clever lyrics and a unique worldview. Indeed, Webb is a superb songwriter and a compelling storyteller on cuts like the cajun-inflected "Little Miss Born to Lose" and "Drivin' Willie." Better yet, Webb benefits from the presentation; the production is evocative and often risk-taking, with spirited guitars and the odd funky piano turn parlayed against subtle acoustics. A mighty fine, if long-delayed, debut.
